Room data sheets (RDS) are used to communicate the requirements of the client for a particular space type to the design team. They are usually created during the design or architectural programming stages. It is also able to backfill room types in existing Revit projects and generate custom reports. Layer also lets users to specify naming conventions for views on sheets. It can also alter properties like size, browser organization and the naming.
The Layouts panel lets you set the margin values and the position of the titleblock, and other settings that regulate the layout. Additionally, the option to exclude the view titles from the calculation of the total size of views on a sheet is enabled. This will prevent titles from obscuring views on the sheet and may also allow more elevation views on the sheet.
